This time I got a little fancy with the shading and added some ambient occlusion. I also figured out a way to manually set the color of the outlines, so I faded them a little lighter to let the shading do most of the work of implying all the details. I also found a better blend mode for the chrome shading that allows it to ignore some of the regular shading, pretty much like real reflections would.
