About this project

# RandySoul on FurAffinity suggested I make a sprite of Renamon on her back. I figured I was likely going to make another Renamon sprite anyway, so… ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Why not? Besides I already had a pose I wanted to use.

# Giving Renamon petite breasts in an already small picture was a challenge. I don’t know if it really worked all that well. Maybe I should stick to my usual zeppelins. It’s not like anybody’s gonna mind. And go figure… near the end of this project I find this picture drawn by Wolfeed. I’m kicking myself for not finding it sooner. Those breasts would have been perfect for this sprite!

# I can’t take credit for the “fancy footwork” in this picture. I stumbled across some pictures by firefly8083 while looking for reference for Renamon’s feet. She draws some damn impressive feral paws, which really gives Renamon this awesome wild look.

# Bonnie Bovine drew a Renamon head with the perfect angle for this picture, and that could have worked by itself, but I really wanted to use the facial expression drawn by iPan. They drew one of my all-time favorite Renamon pictures way back when.

# I kind of debated back and forth about whether to keep iPan’s eyebrow or give Renamon a more desperate look. I worried that Renamon would look like she’s glaring at you. But in the end it was only 2 pixels anyway so I probably didn’t need to worry. Somehow, miraculously… I managed to preserve iPan’s “intensely horny” expression. I had to adjust the tongue to hang out to the right, and the teeth were very tricky to get right. Teeth are always hard to draw on sprites. Making them more pronounced just makes Renamon look angry. It’s a very tricky balance.
