# My website is mainly intended to be an archive of all the stuff I create, all in one convenient place. Having an opinion is not exactly an accomplishment. But when I visit other people’s websites I do enjoy reading through their blogs, so why not add one?
# But I think it should be in its own section, separate from my art and games. After all it would be pretty annoying to search for boobs and see random opinions polluting the results the same way annoying advertisements do (or a social media feed). There’s no shortage of opinions on the internet.
# Then again, maybe the search should always search everything. Otherwise it would just seem unreliable. The whole point of searching is that you don’t know where to find something, so hiding things based on where they are would be confusing.
# I also feel like it’s a courtesy for me to separate my opinions from my art. There are better places for that. There’s nothing wrong with art having meaning, but my own pictures aren’t usually about that. They’re just shameless fun. My opinions don’t really factor into this, so they don’t belong in the art gallery. Besides, that stuff can make things uncomfortable for an audience. I prefer to enjoy a painting without worrying what Picaso thinks of the economy or whether he’s secretly donating his profits to Hitler.
# And don’t worry. Merely looking at a picture does not “support” an artist or anything they might be part of. Only paying them money can do that. You don’t have to agree with me if you just want to look at some boobs I drew.

#Reconsidering
# It turns out that I enjoy seeing an artist’s opinions and viewpoints. It shows that there is a person behind the pixels. It humanizes them.
# If an artist did nothing except draw pictures and never express themselves, that gives the impression that the things they draw are all they ever think about, which would be pretty weird. But if you’re the audience it’s very hard to avoid making that assumption if you never see any other side of the person.
# OMG! What kind of monster would draw Misty in such a lascivious and ribald pose!? (Besides me that is)
# … drawn by a mild mannered historian and antique dealer. Rest in Peace Ted Sheppard. Everybody misses you.
